Once a year, South Africa honors its huge cultural diversity by celebrating Heritage Day – giving each ethnic group within the South African „Rainbow Nation“ a chance to get back to its cultural roots. Our childrens‘ home is situated in Mbongolwane, right in the heart of the Zululand. Therefore, together with all sisters, co-workers and children, we celebrated Heritage Day in St. Joseph with a big Zulu party. The children were performing traditional Zulu dances, while staff members prepared food and drinks for all our guests. We had a joyous and blessed day with prayers, fun and laughter. Take a look at some photos of an unforgettable day.
