South Africa: A nation of inequality

South Africa is one of the most inequal societies worldwide. According to the Gini coefficient, the inequality rate is much worse than in other developing countries. In the province of KwaZulu-Natal, more than 3 million people live below the poverty line. Causes are unemployment, poor education and a lack of possibilities for young people.
