St. Joseph: A safe environment
We are St. Joseph Child and Youth Care Centre, a children’s home in the heart of the South African Zululand. Our overall goal is to provide a safe environment for children and teenagers in need – and to give them a substitute family amidst our Christian fellowship. We, the Holy Childhood Sisters, have been working with disadvantaged youngsters in the KwaZulu-Natal province for more than 25 years.
Mission Statement
St. Joseph CYCC aims to provide a holistic care for children in need, based on Christian morals and principles within the Catholic ethos. We want to rear and educate the children to the best of their abilities, and we want to help them develop their own personality in order to become responsible members of society.
