St. Joseph’s has been blessed with new benefactors when celebrating birthdays in the Children’s Home
Kerry, a woman living in Eshowe has a son who is home schooling. Part of his studies requires him to do voluntary work. Since his mother receives donations from overseas to help the needy she wanted to help the local community. They approached St. Joseph’s CYCC to do something special for the children. In a few months ago they came for the first time to celebrate the birthdays of the three children. The children welcomed them with a zulu dance and singing. Afterwards they had cake provided by Kerry and gave the birthday kids Church clothes as gifts. Everyone had a great time especially the children enjoyed the new visitors. And this was only just the beginning because the generous lady and her children have made a commitment to come every month to celebrate the birthdays of our children. A new friendship has been born: we are truly blessed and grateful!
